Yipes!! I have always slipped the knit stitches as to knit and the purl stitches as to purl. Didn't know there was a rule for it. Well, durn - makes it worth getting out of bed today - learned something new.

Enjoy your snow - doesn't it makes you feel peaceful.....it's so quiet & gentle.

Good for you! lol We were supposed to get 2 big snow storms this weekend but they both are going to miss us, we think. I'm so glad the snow is going to someone who appreciates it!

Don't feel bad about your slipped stitches! A couple years ago a friend was watching me knit and noticed I was purling wrong! And had been for as long as I had been knitting, which has been a loooong time! I was purling in a way that twisted the sts. I trained myself to do it the right way and all is ok now. Love the baby sock! :)

I love your picture of the snow outside.....wish I were there to see it!

We're going to have some lovely weather down here in So Cal too.... predictions of snow down to 1500 feet (nope, we're not high enough here) with hail, rain, and gusty winds expected tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures are already dropping, down to a brisk 47° at 5:00.

Enjoy your white stuff, it doesn't come often to your part of the world. Curl up near a window with knitting on your lap to keep you warm.....
