One pair circular needles Size 3 - 16" length. One set Size 3 dpns.
Tapestry Needle - Crochet Hook Size "J" - Markers
OPTIONAL: colorful buttons GAUGE: 6 stitches = 1 inch
SIZE: 3 - 6 months Small Child
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Easy
CAP INSTRUCTIONS:
Cast on 110 stitches, place marker, and join yarn being careful not to
twist. Work a K3, P2 ribbing for 1-1/2 inches [or desired length]NEXT RND: Purl all stitches around
FOLLOWING RNDS: Knit all stitches around for next 2-1/4 inches.
BEGIN CAP DECREASE:
First Decrease round: Purling all sts in this round, *P2tog, P8, place marker.
Rep from * aroundNEXT RND & FOLLOWING RNDS: Knit all stitches around for 1/4"
2ND DECREASE RND:
And all other decrease rounds: P2tog, *purl to next marker, P2tog. Rep from * aroundREMAINDER OF CAP:
Continue to work alternating 1/4" of knitting all sts around, then work another decrease round [same as 2nd
Decrease above] until 55 sts remain. Switch to dpns when necessary.TOP OF CAP:

With Crochet Hook, crochet a 12" chain. Thread the chain into the tapestry needle, then weave the chain in
